Green Light NY: Driving Together is a statewide coalition of immigrant communities, advocates, allies, and partners working to ensure equal access to driver’s licenses for all New York residents, regardless of immigration status. After helping secure passage of the Green Light legislation in 2021, our work continues to support implementation so this victory becomes a reality in every corner of the state.
Pass Your Learner's Permit Test
In partnership with the Ulster Immigrant Defense Network, we have created a webinar for those who are in the process of obtaining their driver’s license in New York State to study for their written exam and receive their learner’s permit.
The webinar is in Spanish and includes an introduction and four instructional videos. We recommend watching all the videos in the series and using the accompanying study materials available on the Spanish version of this page, accessed here.
